Not the worst place around, but I won't be returning.
Comfy atmosphere, decent food, but if you like great, fall off the bone ribs, go elsewhere. My last trip produced tough baby backs with too much charring. This means they were not cooked low and slow, and were warmed up on the grill.
This looked like a fun place to eat with the logging theme. Unfortunately the food didn't live up to our expectations. Three people ordered the ribblet basket and they didn’t taste smoked and were cold to the bone. Two ordered chicken and it was bloody on the bone. The au gratin potatoes were raw. Needless to say we will not go back.
Best bloody Mary mix and best Reubens we have ever had. We keep going back for more. Highly recommend this Pequot Lakes best restaurant. Plus, last night they had a guy singing Christmas music and playing the piano who was very talented. And I love their decorations.
The food all tasted fine. We ordered fries with one of the meals and got a whopping 22 fries. My wife's fish sandwich was really small.
The service was super slow. 37 minutes to get our order.
We went in to have their Friday nite fish fry. Was the best we have had, lightly breaded fish not battered. Was unbelievable , two big giant pieces, waiter ask if we wanted more but we were full. Try their blue cheese salad dressing home made, you can buy it by the pint, too die for.
